2011 music scene was very exciting in terms of album releases. We had a variety of hit songs to choose from for our Top Ten Songs of 2011. We saw releases from Drake, Wale, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Adele and many more great artists. Some people believe that the music of our generation has been declining but with the new collaborations, and the new emergence of indie and dubstep genres, this generation of music is slowly coming back to where it should be.

Some of the greatest aspects of today's music is its unique style. We can look at Kanye West and Jay-Z's Watch the Throne album to see the amount of time and effort that was put into each song. Ten Top Tips for Creating Good Business Requirements

Creating good business requirements will go a long way towards ensuring the success of the project and eliminate design and development risks that result from poor business requirements documentation. Here are the Top 10 Tips for Writing Good Business Requirements:

1. Develop a clear understanding of the problems that the proposed software is being designed to solve. This will ensure that the subsequent business requirements document addresses those problems fully.

Top 10

2. Identify all project stakeholders and involve them in the business requirements gathering process from the start. Work to build trust and establish credibility early on so you can maintain stakeholder support throughout the project. Learn the individual personality traits of each stakeholder in order to be able to better manage them during the requirements phase of the project.

Ten Top Tips for Creating Good Business Requirements

3. Clearly document all business data including workflow, current problems, anticipated risks, and required performance metrics. Use project-approved tools and methodologies to ensure that the documentation conforms to the client's requirements.

4. Use approved templates for all documentation. Ensure that terms used throughout all documentation either exist in the project dictionary or are added as required. No one reading the business requirements document should encounter unfamiliar terms that cannot be quickly resolved by reviewing the project dictionary.

5. Identify potential privacy and security issues early on so these problems can be mitigated to a level which satisfies the stakeholders that these risks have been managed properly. This helps to build trust and ensures that stakeholders remain committed to the project.

6. Make a concerted effort to identify and document all risks, the impact of these risks on the project's costs and timetable. This will avoid unexpected project delays as well as help control runaway costs.

7. Conduct both group and one-on-one meetings to insure that all business requirements, risks and concerns are identified.

8. Present a draft of the business requirements document to key stakeholders for preliminary review and tentative approval. This helps to ensure that the final business requirements document will be more easily accepted by all stakeholders when it is presented.

9. Rewrite the draft business requirements document to address any issues discovered during step #8. This may requires repeating the stakeholder meeting process until you are sure that all issues have been identified and documented.

10. Present the completed business requirements document to all stakeholders in a formal meeting. Take notes in order to maintain the collective project memory and be ready to address any issues or concerns which may be raised.

Top 10 Exercises Without Weights

If you hate to go to the gym, you are not alone. The good news is - you can get results in the comfort of your own home with some simple home exercises.

Bodyweight training CAN be effective. It CAN be a substitute for weights, if necessary. Training using your own body weight as a source of resistance is a time tested technique to get results fast.

Top 10

Here are the ten best bodyweight training exercises that give you great workouts and great results - without the gym.

Top 10 Exercises Without Weights

1. Supine Pull-Ups (works major muscles in back, shoulders, and biceps) Use two chairs and a pole - a heavy broom handle works well. WARNING: make sure the chairs are stable and that the broom handle is strong enough to take your weight. You could be SEVERELY injured if the pole were to break or the chairs to slip. Lie on your back underneath a low bar. Grab the bar with a wide overhand grip. Pull up. Lower and repeat for 6-8 reps.

2. Supine Biceps Pull-Ups (biceps, some back) Use the same chairs-and-pole arrangement from #1. Sit underneath a low bar. Grab the bar with a reverse grip (palms facing you), hands about shoulder-width apart. Keeping your body upright, pull up until your chin just clears the bar. Focus on the tension in your biceps, trying to relax the rest of your body. 6-8 reps.

3. Push-Ups (chest, triceps, shoulders) The key when targeting the chest with Push-Ups is the direction in which your elbows travel. As with bench presses, the elbows must move AWAY FROM THE BODY to target your chest, and be kept CLOSE TO THE BODY to target the triceps. Place each hand just outside your shoulders, slightly behind the line of your shoulders. Hands pointing straight ahead, upper body rigid as a board. 6-15 reps.

4. Tent Push-Ups (primarily upper chest) Assume the position in #3, but walk your feet forward so your body is bent at the waist, and your hips are up high in the air. Bending at the elbows, lower yourself until your nose touches the floor. Push up. Repeat. 6-8 reps.

5. Push-Ups, Triceps Position (you guessed it - triceps, and some chest) Begin with fingers facing forward in position from #3, hands slightly LESS than shoulder width apart. Lower your body to the floor keeping arms in against your body. Push up. 6-8 reps.

6. Triceps Dips With Chairs With your hands behind your back, support yourself on your palms at the edge of a chair. Your hands should be touching; your elbows should angle outward. Dipping in this position relieves a lot of stress on the elbow and shoulder joints. Lower yourself, keeping your back close to the chair. Bend your elbows back and slightly to the sides. Keep your body angled slightly forward throughout the motion. Press yourself up until your arms are straight. 6-15 reps.

7. One-Legged Squats (front thighs, glutes, hamstrings) Stand perpendicular to a wall, about arm's length away from it. Extend your arm out to the side and place your palm against the wall at just under shoulder-height. Angle the foot farthest from the wall at 45 degrees. Bend the other leg back. Keeping your body upright, lower yourself until the non-weight-bearing knee is close to (but not touching) the ground. Support yourself by leaning against the wall. Press yourself back up to starting position. Repeat 6-8 reps.

8. One-Legged Hamstring Bridges Lie on your back with one leg extended, heel on the ground. Hold the other leg up off the floor. Pushing through your heel, flex your hamstrings to lift your body. Lower and repeat for 8-10 reps. Repeat with other leg. You can control the resistance and the degree to which the glutes contribute by changing the distance you place your heel relative to your butt.

9. Lunges Begin the lunge by taking a large step forward, keeping your head up and torso erect. Lower your hips and allow your trailing knee to drop to a point just before it touches the floor - never let the knee touch the floor. To return to the start, push off with your forward leg and then step back when the knee is completely straight. Repeat with other leg, 10-15 reps each leg.

10. Stair Running Stair running isn't usually considered a resistance exercise, and in fact, it makes hefty demands on your cardiovascular system. However, it also does an incredible job of conditioning the lower body. If your knees are in good shape, try doing 10-20 one-story sprints, preferably two stairs at a time. As you get stronger, work up the number slowly, keep one hand on the stair rail to catch yourself if you lose your balance. Give yourself a bigger challenge by wearing a backpack filled with nice and heavy books.

Blindsided By The CRA Penalties Of Up TO 20%

Have you ever accidentally forgotten to add in something to your taxes? What do you know about the CRA's "repeated failure to report income" section? The penalties are blindsiding Canadians with inadvertent slip-ups. For instance, tax slips sent to an old address, late-arriving slips, lost slips, forgotten slips including unreported eBay income is now your responsibility. CRA is now actively giving out 20% penalties on missing information. A dear friend explained how she became aware of this: "I got a cheque from Manulife for work done by my dentist. Manulife, of course, will report this. But if I fail to report it, it will be noted. If I do it again within 4 years, I will be penalized."

The CRA has upgraded its system in matching T-slips. They will red flag your account if revenue is not reported. If it happens twice in the last four years you are in for a 20% penalty. The penalty is a combined 20% federal-provincial rate that may be applied to the amount of the unreported income.

"Where a taxpayer fails to report income more than once over a four-year period, a penalty based on the amount of the most recent unreported income is justified," the department said in an email to CBC News.

CBC News spoke to accountants who stressed the importance of listing every T-slip on tax returns. "Anyone who doesn't report a T-slip is foolish," MacIntyre says. "It's going to get picked up." MacIntyre notes that the CRA's matching program doesn't begin until the fall. That's when the CRA's computers begin to match the slips taxfilers have reported with the ones that the issuers filed with the CRA. So you do have some time to report slips that were left off your return, but don't wait too long.

This rule just goes to show you how serious the CRA is about people forgetting/omitting information from their tax return. It is always a good idea to compare your current year information to the tax return that you filed last year to ensure that you have not missed anything.

A T1 Adjustment Request form is available on the CRA website. However, if you voluntarily tell CRA about an amount you failed to report and/or an overstatement of credits, CRA may waive this penalty. For more information, see and IC07-1, Taxpayer Relief Provisions. Know your rights with http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca If this forwarding is to late, another option is to amend the tax returns with the correct information. This option is less desirable than the VDP, because it does not necessarily provide for interest relief nor will penalties always be waived. However, some auditors may be forgiving and will cancel any penalties that would otherwise apply.
